Round 22: Tipping the West for a win

We start Round 22 at the MCG with the Melbourne Demons taking on the Sydney Swans. This is a game that could be very hard to watch given both teams are struggling, Melbourne by 12 points.
5 games on Super Saturday starting with Carlton taking on St Kilda at MRVL Stadium, both teams will want to build hope for their fans for 2020 with a good finish to this season. I’m tipping Carlton in a close one by 8 points.
We go up to the GABBA for a top of the table clash 2nd Brisbane Vs 1st Geelong in what promises to be a cracking game that will be of a very high intensity from the opening bounce. I’m staying with the home side here as they have a lot of young players performing very well at present. Brisbane by 11 points.
The Adelaide Crows take on Collingwood in Adelaide in another crucial game for both sides. As the Pies are missing a few key players, I’m going to pick Adelaide as I can see their forward line standing up to kick a winning score. Adelaide by 21 points.
We go the MRVL Stadium where North Melbourne who were extremely disappointing last week, take on Port Adelaide who are hanging on to 8th spot by percentage. I’m tipping Port to win as they need to match their consistency with there talent and it’s now or never for this group. Port by 24 points.
Fremantle take on Essendon at Optus Stadium and I just can’t pick a team like Essendon after losing by 100 plus points the week before, plus they have some injury concerns. I’m going Fremantle to send off Aaron Sandilands in the finest way possible for the Champion he is, so Fremantle by 17 points.
3 games on Sunday and we start with a Blockbuster, Richmond Vs West Coast at the MCG in what could be the preview to this years AFL Grand Final. This game will come down to who handles the pressure and shows composure at the right time to win the game. I just like what West Coast are doing as a collective, so West Coast by 4 points.
The GWS Giants who were disappointing last week take on the fast finishing Western Bulldogs in another crucial game that will decide positions in the Top 8. I’m tipping the Giants to bounce back and prove to the football world they are still a contender this year. Giants by 18 points.
Last game of the round and it’s Hawthorn taking on the Gold Coast Suns at MRVL Stadium in what will be Jarryd Roughead’s final game.  You can only see 1 result here and that’s the Hawks to salute a Champion off in Grand Style!! Hawks by 30 plus points.
Have a great weekend and enjoy the Footy.
