Round 15 of the 2018 AFL Season

We start Round 15 with all the bye’s past us and 9 full AFL games this weekend.

Thursday night footy and we have a massive game at Etihad Stadium with Richmond taking on Sydney for a battle of top spot. Even though it’s not on the MCG I just feel the Tigers all round pressure and youth will prevail and win this game by 17 points. Look out for the Rance Vs Buddy Match up.

Friday night footy and again it’s at Etihad Stadium. It’s the Western Bulldogs, who were very impressive last week taking on the Cats in what will be a great contest. However, I feel the Cats midfield and solid backline will get the job done. Cats by 21 points.

4 games on Saturday starting with Carlton taking on Port Adelaide at the MCG. The Power should win this game easily as they are the far better side and in good form. Power by 30 plus points.

Massive game in Adelaide, and it’s the Crows taking on the Eagles. Both sides have struggled recently with form and injury so this will be a tight contest. I’m tipping the home team in the Crows to save their season by a another week and win by 10 points.

Gold Coast take on Collingwood at Metricon Stadium. The Sun’s are not a healthy team at the minute with so many club issue’s – it’s hard to play good footy, so Collingwood to get the job done by 25 plus points.

GWS without Jeremy Cameron for the next 5 weeks take on Hawthorn at Spotless Stadium. The Giants have turned their season around in recent weeks and need this win to stay in contention for finals footy. With the talent they have they should cover the loss of Cameron so I’m tipping the Giants by 16 points.

3 games on Sunday starting with Melbourne taking on St ‘Kilda at the MCG. It’s a game where the Demon’s need a bounce back win to consolidate a position in the top 8. Melbourne have to many avenue’s to goal and can kick a big score, so Melbourne by 20 points.

Essendon impressed us last week against the Eagles in an upset win take on the Kangaroo’s at Etihad Stadium. I like the speed of the Bombers when they take the game on like they did against the Eagles and North Melbourne are not the quickest side in the competition, so Bombers to win by 18 points.

Last game of the round is in Perth and it’s the Fremantle Dockers taking on the Brisbane Lions. Fremantle with a few senior players back and a good win leading into the bye should be too strong on their home ground against the young inexperienced Brisbane side. Fremantle by 27 points.

Have a great weekend!
