Round 10 of the 2018 AFL Season

We start round 10 with a Friday night game at Etihad Stadium and it’s the much-improved Pies taking on the Bulldogs.

I’m tipping Collingwood by 17 points as some good players are returning from injury and their form is coming along nicely. Plus Jordan De Goey & Jaidyn Stephenson are very good goal kickers!!

4 games on Super Saturday starting with Richmond taking on the very disappointing Saints at the MCG – the Tigers should bounce back and win this game by 35 plus points. St Kilda are in bad form and struggling for confidence.

The Brisbane Lions who finally recorded their 1st win last week take on the Sydney Swans at the GABBA. I tipped the Lions last week and I recon they can beat Sydney this week as well, they have a lot of young players who will run the Swans players off their feet. Lions by 10 points.

Geelong who where very disappointing last week take on the most disappointing team in the AFL in Carlton down in Geelong. So pretty simple tip here, Cats to bounce back and win by 32 points.

The GWS Giants who are really struggling with constancy and injuries are playing at home to the Bombers this week. The Bombers had their best win of the season last week but this game is hard to tip given that before that, they both have been really disappointing. I’ll stay with the home team in GWS by 17 points.

3 Games on Sunday and we start with the Hawks home to the red hot West Coast Eagles at Etihad Stadium. The Eagles have the football world talking, however we want to see how they will perform away from home to some quality sides in the coming weeks. I’m tipping the Eagles to continue their winning way as they have a very even spread of performers across the ground and their forward line is lethal at the present moment. West Coast by 18 points.

Melbourne take on the Adelaide Crows at the MCG in what will be a great contest and very hard one to tip. However, I’ll tip Melbourne due to their recent form and with Adelaide’s injury toll I think the Demon’s are playing a more even brand of football within their team. Melbourne by 23 points.

Last game of the round and it’s the Fremantle Dockers taking on the Kangaroo’s at Optus Stadium. The Docker’s will need to play a really attacking game of football against the best defence in the competition. In saying that, Optus Stadium is a big home ground advantage and the opposition are struggling with the unknown coming here for the 1st time so I’m tipping the Dockers to bounce back by 16 points.

Have a great weekend.
